Principal's Corner

Dear Park View Families,

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter to you as the principal of Park View Middle School. I’m very passionate about education and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure PVMS continues to provide a safe, positive learning environment. As the parent of two children, I recognize the importance of a strong home-to-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and I believe that by working together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.

My previous experiences helped shaped me as an individual and as an educator. I grew up in Beaver Dam, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I began my teaching career in the Kettle Moraine School District as a middle school teacher. For the past 12 years I was a teacher, coach, and associate principal at the middle and high school level in the Watertown Unified School District. I have a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University and hold a principal and curriculum license. My wife, Lindsay, and I have two children, Kaden and Avery. As a family we enjoy attending sporting events and local community events.

At Park View Middle School, we support the district mission of “Students, Staff, and Community: Building Better Schools Together.” Our school was recently recognized for offering an engaging, rigorous, and well-rounded middle school experience.

  • We were recognized as a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School for providing broad access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. PVMS was one of just eight middle schools in Wisconsin and 110 middle schools across the nation honored with this distinction.
  • Park View Middle School also received the Wisconsin RtI Center Bronze Level Recognition for our efforts in implementing our “Mustang Way” PBIS framework to support all learners and a culture that supports stronger relationships with students and their families.

At PVMS, we will continue to be committed to providing academic experiences for our students, helping them build relationships while making real-world connections.

I look forward to meeting you at an upcoming PVMS event. Please take a moment to stop by and introduce yourself. Additionally, please feel free to call or email me to discuss any questions or concerns you might have throughout the school year.  I look forward to working with you as a team to help ensure your student has a successful year at Park View Middle School!

Sincerely,
Luke Spielman
